Titan Publishing Group

Titan Publishing Group is an independently-owned publishing company, established in 1981. It is based at offices in London's Bankside area, close to Tate Modern.

Titan Publishing Group has two main divisions: Titan Books and Titan Magazines, with their own editorial and marketing staff. Our in-house graphic design studio and production department serve both divisions, and provide a strong creative, design style for all the company's titles.

The Books Division

The Books Division has two main areas of publishing: film & TV tie-ins/cinema reference books; and graphic novels & comics reference/art titles.

Film & TV

Farscape

Titan Books is a leading publisher of high quality film and TV tie-ins, with particular strength in the area of licensed entertainment titles. We publish on average 30-40 new film and TV tie-in titles per year, across a broad range of formats from "making of" books and screenplays to TV companions and novels, and we have an extensive backlist reprint programme. Our major licensed properties include Star Wars, Batman, Superman, Fantastic Four, Serenity, 24, Star Trek, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride, Sin City, Tenacious D, and many more.

We also publish a growing list of prestigious and critically-acclaimed cinema reference titles such as The Alfred Hitchcock Story, The Art of the Matrix, and The Winston Effect: The Art & History of the Stan Winston Studio.

Our new titles for 2007 include Zodiac, the novel on which the new David Fincher movie is based; two tie-in novels to the Transformers movie; Grind House, a lavish companion to the forthcoming Rodriguez/Tarantino movie; Stardust: The Visual Companion, which ties in to the fantasy movie based on Neil Gaiman's bestselling illustrated novel; and many more.

Our TV companion series also goes from strength to strength, with new companion books to 24, Firefly, Green Wing, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG-1, The 4400, Smallville, Xena, Supernatural and Bones, with more hit series being added all the time.

Graphic Novels

Buffy

Titan Books is the leading publisher of graphic novels in the UK, this year celebrating 25 years' experience in this unique area of publishing. We have a backlist of over 1000 graphic novel titles and well over six million copies sold to date.

We publish a wide range of titles, using licensed characters and properties such as Akira, Batman, Battlestar Galactica, JLA, 24, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Shaun of the Dead, Superman, Sandman, The Simpsons, Transformers, and Star Wars.

Graphic novels continue to provide fantastic source material for Hollywood again this year, with tie-ins including The Simpsons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and Stardust.

New additions to the "classic strips" library list include deluxe collectors' editions of James Bond and Modesty Blaise newspaper strips, plus the classic Dan Dare comic strip, as well as British classics including the critically-acclaimed Charley's War.

We have a growing line of successful children's comic collections, including Scooby-Doo, Star Wars Clone Wars Adventures, Wallace & Gromit, and SpongeBob Square Pants.

We also publish immensely popular high quality 'coffee table' books on animation, popular culture, collectibles and comic and fantasy art. Our 2007 lead title for autumn is Spider-Man: The Icon, a coffee table book on the history of Spider-Man in popular culture.

Titan Magazines is now the largest and most experienced publisher of licensed entertainment properties in the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand. Current properties include:-
