Hot on the heels of one dramatic turning point (the marriage of Luke and Mara in Star Wars: Union) comes another; more shocking and tragic than anything thus far chronicled in George Lucas’s epic Star Wars saga... the death of Chewbacca!

Not a dream, not an imaginary tale -- it’s true, Han Solo’s long-time co-pilot and trusted friend is no more. But how? Where? Why? This incredible graphic novel holds the answers and much, much more. Warrior, smuggler, hero, legend; so much is known about Chewbacca and yet at the same time so little. Now, through the thoughts and remembrances of those closest to him (including Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian and, of course, Han Solo) the history of galaxy’s greatest Wookiee can at last be revealed.

As droids C-3PO and R2-D2 chronicle his history friends and family contribute a series of tales that provide intimate glimpses into the fascinating and often extraordinary life of the mighty but endearing Wookiee. Chewbacca met a shocking, tragic end but even though he is gone with the stories collected here he will not be forgotten.
