Beginning with the battle of Naboo (as seen in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace), the Clone Wars were a dark time in the galaxy, as the armies of Republic clone troopers led by the Jedi faced off against the Separatists' battle droids. The Dark Side can be a dangerous temptation to even the strongest Jedi, as Quinlan Vos discovers when he crosses lightsabers with Count Dooku. Its seductive nature is even more testing to the novice, as new knight Aayla Secura learns when she battles fallen Jedi Aurra Sing...

As the Star Wars Universe expands to meet the onrush of Star Wars Episode III, another chapter in the epic Clone Wars saga unfolds as the conflict between the Jedi and the Separatists races to its devastating climax.

Closing the gap between Episode II and Episode III, the official Clone Wars timeline spans novels, graphic novels and now the new cartoon series!
